Bread & Wine’s evolving menu: from à la carte to courses
December 18, 2015
‘Without Bread & Wine, love goes hungry’
This December we celebrated Chef Neil Jewell’s 16th anniversary as Head Chef & Charcuterie King of Bread & Wine Vineyard Restaurant.
To commemorate this occasion we’ll be launching our new menu on 04 January 2016: offering our guests the choice of either a 2-or 3-course menu. As always the dishes on this menu will revolve with the seasons, available produce as well as our chef’s whim. There will be a variety of dishes to choose from, such as chilled cucumber with ricotta and smoked trout or springbok loin with walnut bulgur and pickled cherries… and more. (The menu will include vegetarian options.)
This decision comes from a desire to explore a more curated menu designed to further enhance the culinary creativity of our team. We will also be offering Môreson wine pairings with the menus to promote increased synergy between our wine farm and restaurant.
As always, we love family. The restaurant will continue to be as family-friendly as ever. The little ones (12-and-under) will have the option of eating what they like off of the kiddies’ menu at a set price.
Additionally, the adjacent Miss Molly Charcuterie Bar serves light meals and charcuterie boards, with no reservations required (opening times: 10am-3pm). Here you’ll also be able to purchase Jewell & Co products to take home.
